There will be 2 versions of the Apple iPad. The first comes out in in April with WiFi and the second coming out in March will have 3G available with no contract. Of Course things might change between now and then.
*The iPad, with WiFi only, costs $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB.
*The iPad, with WiFi and 3G, cost $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB.

with wifi it is free for 3g there are two plans one that costs 14.99/month and gets you 250mb and the other is 30$/month and gives you unlimited data
